The Grace Tame Foundation – Community Fundraising Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing to support the work of The Grace Tame Foundation. Your commitment helps us work towards a future free from child sexual abuse. To ensure all community fundraising activities are conducted in a way that upholds our values and meets legal requirements, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Definitions
- Fundraiser refers to any individual, group or organisation coordinating an event or activity to raise funds for The Grace Tame Foundation.
- These terms apply to all fundraising events and activities organised in support of the Foundation
Authority to Fundraise
- Before promoting your activity as being held “in support of The Grace Tame Foundation”, you must register using our online fundraising platform. Once we have received your registration, we will provide you with an official Authority to Fundraise.
- The Authority confirms your event is approved, and you may begin promoting and collecting funds
Scope and Approval
- Fundraising is permitted only for the specific event/activity and dates outlined in your Authority.
- Any changes, including extensions or modifications to your event, must be approved in writing by The Grace Tame Foundation.
- Fundraising activities remain the sole responsibility of the Fundraiser. While we are here to support where possible, we are unable to assist with prize solicitation, publicity, or logistics unless agreed upon in writing
Use of Name and Logo
- If you wish to use The Grace Tame Foundation’s name or logo on any promotional material (e.g., posters, flyers, invitations), you must first submit the material to us for written approval
In-Kind Donations
- Any donated goods or services intended for your event must be used accordingly. If unused, they should be donated to The Grace Tame Foundation
Legal Compliance
- The Grace Tame Foundation is a registered charity under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and holds various state fundraising licences.
As a Fundraiser, you must comply with all applicable fundraising laws and regulations, including any conditions outlined in our licences that relate to your activity.
Financial Accountability
- All funds collected outside of your online fundraising page must be remitted to The Grace Tame Foundation within four (4) weeks of your event.
- A receipt will be issued in the name of the event, and the total added to your fundraising tally
Insurance
- Your fundraising activity is not covered by The Grace Tame Foundation’s public liability insurance.
- You must ensure your event is appropriately insured and that you are covered for any risks involve.
Conduct and Representation
- At all times, you are expected to act with integrity, decency and respect. Your event must reflect the values of The Grace Tame Foundation and must not bring the Foundation into disrepute.
- We reserve the right to withdraw approval at any time if these terms are not upheld
Social Media
Our social media platforms exist to inform, empower and advocate for survivor-led change. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful space for everyone who interacts with our content.
We have zero tolerance for hate speech, abuse, harassment or discrimination—whether directed at:
- Our Founder, Grace Tame
- The Grace Tame Foundation
- Survivors and advocates
- People fundraising on behalf of the Foundation
- Any individual engaging with our content
If you breach this policy, your comment will be removed, you will be blocked immediately, and your fundraising activity will be cancelled. You will not be given a second chance.
We will act swiftly and decisively to protect the well-being of our community. These platforms are not a space for cruelty, trolling, or personal attacks.
We ask everyone to engage with empathy, integrity and respect. Thank you for helping us foster a safer and more supportive environment.
The above also applies if you are found to be spreading hate speech, abuse, harassment or discrimination on your social media profiles.

At The Grace Tame Foundation, we are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information with care.
What We Collect
By completing this registration form, you are providing The Grace Tame Foundation with personal information. This may include:
- Your full name, date of birth, address, phone number and email address.
We request your date of birth to verify that you are over 16. If you are under 16, you will need your parent or guardian’s permission to proceed with your fundraising activity.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- Register and approve your fundraising activity
- Communicate with you about your event
- Provide support, updates and recognition for your efforts
- Comply with legal obligations
- Update you on how you efforts are making a difference
- Letting you know other ways you can support the Foundation.
