What is Move Against Child Sexual Abuse
Who can register? Anyone!
Whether you’re signing up solo, with a team, a group of mates, or your entire sports club – joining Move Against Child Sexual Abuse is simple and straightforward.
If you’re under 16, you’ll just need permission from a parent or guardian (it’s a legal requirement). But why not use it as a reason to get them involved too? Parental consent is part of the online registration form – easy!
How much does it cost to register?
It’s completely free to register and participate in Move Against Child Sexual Abuse.
How does it work?
Register – Join the movement and commit to moving 4km a day this October.
Fundraise – Spread the word and raise vital funds to help end child sexual abuse.
Get Moving! – Track your distance and see if you can climb your way up the leaderboard.
When is Move Against Child Sexual Abuse?
Move Against Child Sexual Abuse is an online, month-long personal challenge that starts on 1 October and runs through until 31 October.
What do I have to do?
Wherever you live, and whatever your fitness level, you choose where, when, and how you Move Against Child Sexual Abuse. Setting yourself a personal challenge not only keeps you motivated but also inspires others to sponsor your efforts.
How do I log my KM's?
Option #1 - Manually You can manually add your kilometres directly into your dashboard. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to your dashboard and select 'Log My Fitness Activity'.
Step 2: Under 'Add activity', enter the date and distance
Step 3: The number of KMs will now appear on your fundraising page!
Option #2 - Via a fitness app You can connect your Strava, MapMyFitness or Fitbit accounts to your fundraising page. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Download Fitbit, Strava or MapMyFitness and set up your account
Step 2: Connect your fitness app to your Move Against Child Sexual Abuse dashboard
Step 3: Follow the prompts to connect your account
Step 4: Next time you start your activity it’s advised to select START in your chosen fitness app on your phone. Once you have finished make sure you hit STOP in your workout in the app and your activity will be published to your fundraising page automatically.
Please be advised it can take up to 24 hours for the activity to appear on your page.
Where do the funds go that I raise?
Every dollar you raise will go towards funding the Grace Tame Foundation in its mission to help end child sexual abuse.

Is there a minimum amount I have to raise?
What if I don't reach my fundraising goal?
Raising money might feel a little daunting, but that’s why we’re here. We’ll support you every step of the way and make fundraising fun and easy. Take advantage of the resources available on our website — and remember, sometimes all it takes is simply asking.
We understand that everyone’s circumstances are different. This challenge is just as much about fitness and community as it is about raising funds for the Grace Tame Foundation.
And don’t worry if you don’t reach your fundraising goal — you won’t be penalised. What matters most is that you’ve joined a movement of like-minded people committed to helping end child sexual abuse.
What do I do if I receive cash?
The best way to bank your offline fundraising money is through your online fundraising page with your credit card. Your total fundraising amount will then be shown on your page.
How do I share my fundraising page on Instagram?
Sharing your URL on Instagram can be tricky.
Here are two options that you could try,
1. Add your fundraising URL to your Instagram bio
2. Create an Instagram story and use the 'Sticker Link' to share your fundraising URL
